Smokey Robinson has released a new duets album, "Smokey & Friends." The album features Robinson's collaborations with several music industry heavyweights. This article, published in Billboard, features exclusive interviews with JC Chasez and Aloe Blacc who, along with Smokey Robinson and Miguel, recorded a remake of "My Girl." The original song, which is widely recognized as a music standard, was co-written and co-produced by Robinson and Ronald White and first recorded by the Temptations for Barry Gordy's Motown label in 1964.

The Ralph Bunche Summer Institute has been successful in attracting a new generation of scholars to political science. The Institute is a five-week program that helps students interested in graduate study in political science to develop and improve their research and writing skills and gets them ready for a graduate career. Named in honor of the first African-American to receive a Ph.D. in political science in 1934, and winner of the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize, the Institute simulates the graduate school experience, and encourages promising students from underrepresented backgrounds to apply to graduate programs in political science.
